Assemblywoman Blanca Pacheco is excited to announce the 1st Annual Veterans Day Awards ceremony, honoring the service and dedication of our local veterans. We invite you to nominate a veteran hero from any branch of the armed forces who has made a significant impact in our community. This event will celebrate their contributions and provide an opportunity for us all to come together and our express gratitude to those who have served. Your nominations will help us recognize these remarkable individuals and their commitment to our community. The award recipients will be announced and celebrated in November.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Assembly District 64.
- Served honorably on active duty or reserve component and received an honorable discharge.
- Must hail from one of the following branches: Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard.
- Anyone can submit nominations for the Veteran of the Year awards.
To nominate an individual for this prestigious honor, kindly apply below by October 17.
If the nominee is selected for the final round, you will be asked to submit further details, such as a formal bio, a digital photo, and verification documents, as necessary.
