Welcome Baby provides L.A. County pregnant women and new moms with information, support and a trusted partner to help them through the journey of pregnancy and early parenthood. Through Welcome Baby, parents develop skills to create a supportive home-learning environment and get linked to the information and services they need to ensure their child's healthy growth, reduce abuse and neglect, and ultimately help their children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. The free and voluntary, hospital-based home visiting program is available to all L.A. County families who deliver or plan to deliver at one of 14 participating Welcome Baby hospitals, regardless of income status. Visit their website to learn more.
