2017-2018 Young Legislators Program

Program Overview

Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson is seeking bright, self-motivated, energetic high school seniors, juniors or sophomores to serve as a YOUNG LEGISLATOR.

The Young Legislator program will provide students the opportunity to learn first-hand the inner workings of state government and the legislative process. The Young Legislators members will meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues important to their communities, participate in special legislative tours and events, and share ideas on youth related issues.
